My personal specializations, which I focus on daily, are family and criminal law. I also relatively frequently handle inheritance, labor, and contract law.
My goal is a satisfied client, because only such work makes sense. I always strive to explain the situation to the client, the possible solutions, and their respective advantages and disadvantages.
If I see a settlement as a more beneficial solution within a case, I will propose it to the client. It often saves money, stress, and time. However, if it is necessary to fight for a favorable solution for the client, I do so deliberately, strategically, and by all legal means.
You can verify client feedback on my work.
Owner and Attorney at AK Matěna Law Firm
In my legal practice, I strive to take the best from each of my previous experiences in various law firms. Conversely, I want to avoid things I did not identify with. All this is for the best comfort and benefit of hundreds of our clients.
Regarding legal areas, I focus primarily on family and criminal law, as well as inheritance, labor, and administrative law, and the drafting of contracts.
My passion is sports law.
In my position, I independently negotiated with clients, drafted legal documents for them, and represented them in court and out-of-court proceedings. I dealt with all areas of law, most frequently civil, commercial, criminal, and administrative law.
My position was focused primarily on sports law. I drafted player contracts and sponsorship agreements, provided legal services to player agents, represented players in arbitrations before their sports organizations, and also represented sports organizations in their legal disputes. Outside of sports law, my agenda was focused mainly on commercial and civil law, where I frequently negotiated with corporate lawyers of large companies, gaining insight into the functioning of their positions.
My workload consisted mainly of drafting contracts, lawsuits, and other court filings, and subsequently representing clients in court proceedings. The agenda was most focused on civil, criminal, and family law.
As a lawyer in the property law department, I dealt mainly with real estate transfers, easements, leases, and agricultural leases. I learned about the internal workings of public administration while managing the approval process for individual legal documents, which included communicating with politicians and securing their approval for given projects.
